Duarte Accepted to JHU’s new ICQCM cohort
The National Science Foundation Institute in Critical Quantitative, Computational, and Mixed Methodologies (ICQCM) at Johns Hopkins University named Bryan J. Duarte as a member of the sixth 2025 William T. Grant Foundation Advanced Quantitative and Computational (AQC) Scholars Cohort. Bryan J. Duarte Duarte is an assistant professor of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies in the College of Education Department of Educational Studies. “I’m excited to join the William T. Grant Cohort of ICQCM because of the opportunity to strengthen my critical quantitative and mixed methodological skills,” Duarte said. “I am especially excited to join a community of underrepresented scholars who can provide mentorship and collaboration on projects that engage with critical quantitative methods, which are still emergent and remain underutilized in educational leadership and policy research.” As a William T. Grant AQC Scholar, Duarte will be provided access to cohort webinars, attendance to the ICQCM Summit and proposal writing workshops and retreats, and access to all archived content within the ICQCM repository of knowledge and to the Institute Fellows of ICQCM. About the William T. Grant Foundation AQC scholars cohort William T. Grant Foundation AQC scholars are required to be full-time tenure-track faculty members or career research scientists with terminal doctoral degrees (PhD, EdD, DPh, ScD., etc.) or postdoctoral fellows. Their focus must be on advanced quantitative and computational work or publications using quantitative or computational methods, or they must have an interest in doing research with/about young people ages 5-25 and/or the institutions that serve them.
