University Health and Wellness Challenges to Come in 2025
The Office of Student and Alumni Affairs is excited to introduce several health and wellness challenges to encourage community engagement.

In 2025, the University wants to demonstrate its strong commitment to everyone’s physical and mental wellbeing. The Office of Student and Alumni Affairs is excited to introduce several health and wellness challenges and initiatives designed to encourage community engagement and inspire a culture of wellness in the University community. From physical fitness activities to financial wellness workshops, we’re laying the foundation for a year full of growth, support and connection.
Getting Involved in University Health and Wellness Challenges
Physical health is multifaceted. It’s not just about attaining or maintaining fitness; it’s about caring for your mental health, managing stress, and nurturing meaningful connections.
To kick off 2025, the University is introducing various wellness challenges that will touch on all these areas. Whether you’re joining a physical fitness challenge to stay active, participating in financial wellness workshops to secure your future or easing anxiety through mindfulness activities, we want you to join us in taking small steps toward a healthier, more balanced life.
In CareerLink, we’ve created a wellness group called #BeWell – A Health & Wellness Accountability Circle. This group supports friends and colleagues on their wellness journey. It has a variety of resources, challenges, and a discussion forum for personal inspiration, motivation, and accountability.

Throughout the year, our #BeWell hashtag series (which pairs well with #APUWellness and #AMUWellness) will serve as a way to build our community and track your progress. By sharing your wellness journey on social media, you’ll inspire others to embrace their own health and wellness goals.
Every post, every hashtag and every challenge completed brings us closer together as a community. Let’s make 2025 the year you prioritize your health.
Other Health and Wellness Activities to Come
We’ll be rolling out activities throughout 2025 that encourage not just personal growth but also help foster a strong sense of community. These challenges include:
- Physical Fitness Challenges: Whether it’s a virtual walk, run, or workout session, we’ll have weekly goals and activities designed to help you stay active.
- Mental Health Check-ins: Join us in activities and discussions aimed at reducing stress, practicing mindfulness, and prioritizing self-care.
- Financial Wellness Workshops: Learn the best ways to manage money, create savings plans and prepare for a financially secure future.
- Social Wellness: Acknowledge the importance of connecting with others through digital and in-person events that focus on building empathy and mutual understanding.
Each of these initiatives will support our #BeWell campaign by promoting individual and collective wellness.
